How AI is used here

The short version

This site was built with the help of AI, and some of the content on it may be AI-generated or AI-assisted.

Classmade is a platform teachers use to sell resources they made. The resources themselves are theirs. What follows is an honest account of where AI does and does not appear.

The software itself

Classmade is built and maintained with AI assistance. The design, the code and much of the writing on this site were produced by people working with AI tools, and reviewed by people before release.

This is true of every page on classmade.co and of every storefront hosted on Classmade, whatever address it is served from.

Teaching resources

Resources sold on Classmade are uploaded by the teachers who sell them. Classmade does not generate a teacher’s catalogue for them.

Classmade does have an internal drafting tool that can produce a first draft of a resource, and it is limited to accounts we have explicitly enabled it for. Where it has been used, the resource was still reviewed and published by a person, who is responsible for what it says.

Classmade cannot inspect the inside of an uploaded file, so it cannot promise that a teacher did not use an AI tool of their own before uploading. If that matters to you, ask the seller.

Store design, logos and cover images

Classmade can suggest a colour scheme, a layout or a logo for a store. Those suggestions are AI-assisted, and the teacher chooses whether to keep them.

When a resource has no cover image, Classmade draws a simple pattern in the store’s own colours, picked from the subject of the resource. That artwork is not AI-generated. It is drawn by a fixed rule, and the same resource always produces the same picture.

Support and email

Replies from Classmade support are written by people. Automatic emails, such as a receipt or a download link, are ordinary templates rather than anything generated per message.

There is no chatbot on this site. If a page ever answers you in conversation, it will say plainly that it is an AI system before you type anything into it.

What Classmade does with your data

Nothing you buy, download or type into a storefront is used to train an AI model, by Classmade or by anyone we work with.

The notice you may have seen at the top of this site is shown based on the country your network connection appears to be in, which our content delivery network tells us. No location is stored, logged or shared, and it changes nothing else about the page.
