How AI is used here, said plainly
Classmade is built with the help of AI, and there is now a page that says exactly where it does and does not appear, linked from the footer of every page. Visitors browsing from Europe see a short notice about it as well, which is what the EU AI Act asks of us.
Paid resources no longer stay "Coming soon" after you connect Stripe
If the message from Stripe confirming your account never reached us, your paid resources could sit behind a "Coming soon" badge for good, and finishing Stripe again did not help. Your store now checks with Stripe directly, so a store that is ready to sell starts selling on its next visit.
Domain setup tells you the truth
A connected domain used to be able to show green before anything had changed at your domain provider, including when the domain only forwarded visitors somewhere else. Classmade now looks up your records itself and will not call a domain connected until it can see your store answering on it.
Connect a domain you own
Bring your own address, such as mystore.com. Classmade prepares the exact records, gives you steps written for your own domain provider, and checks DNS, HTTPS and your storefront before switching anything over. Your current address keeps working the whole time, so there is no window where your store is down.
Set the currency your store charges in
Choose and confirm your store currency once, and every price, cart and checkout follows it. Prices now show their currency code, so nobody has to guess which dollar they are paying in, and past orders keep the currency they were actually sold in even if you change it later.
Give a freebie away at signup
Pick a resource to send automatically to anyone who joins your email list. They get the download straight away, and you get a subscriber, with nothing to wire up in between.
Your earnings, reconciled to the cent
A financial ledger records what each sale earned you, what Stripe charged to process it, and what actually reached your bank. You can export it whenever you need it, including at tax time.
The payouts page was wrong about your fee
Pro sellers were told they paid a Classmade commission on every sale. They pay none. The page had been showing a rate from an old pricing model that no longer existed, and it now reads the same rate checkout actually charges.
A storefront that looks like yours
Resource covers now take their colours from your store instead of a generic template, the store header behaves like a header on every screen size, and Discover explains what it is rather than repeating the homepage back at you.
Discount codes
Create percent-off codes from your dashboard, with optional expiry dates and usage limits, and share them anywhere. Buyers apply them in the cart, and you can see exactly how much each code has earned you.
Buyer reviews on your storefront
A new "Buyer reviews" section shows your best real reviews, star ratings and all, right on your store. It fills itself automatically as reviews come in, so there is nothing to maintain.
Sales insights and CSV exports
Your Sales page now charts your weekly earnings, ranks your best-selling resources, and shows your repeat-buyer rate, plus one-click CSV exports of your orders and buyer list. Your data is yours to keep.
More fonts, on-brand emails
Two new font options (Bookish and Rounded) join Elegant and Modern, for headings and body text independently. Your emails now follow your store design too: campaign emails and purchase receipts wear your logo, colours, fonts, and corners.
A more flexible store builder
Undo and redo, duplicate any page, point your hero button anywhere, click-to-edit your footer, a second template collection, image focal-point control, and a full-catalogue Shop page with sorting and filters.
Classmade is live
Teachers can now create a storefront, upload resources, and sell directly to buyers. A visual store builder, Stripe checkout, secure file delivery, and a full seller dashboard are all available on day one.
We'd love to hear what you'd like to see next.
