End User License Agreement
Last updated August 19, 2026
1. What this licence covers
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is the default licence for downloadable educational resources ("Resources") obtained through Classmade-powered storefronts unless the Seller clearly offers a different or broader licence in the listing.
Each Resource is created and licensed by the Seller who lists it. Classmade provides marketplace, checkout and delivery infrastructure and is not the author of every Resource.
2. Who may purchase and use a Resource
Purchasing features and buyer accounts are intended for adults and organizations. If a Resource is used by a minor, the adult purchaser, parent, guardian or educator remains responsible for providing and supervising that use.
3. Default permitted use
Unless the listing says otherwise, one purchase grants one named purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and use the Resource for that purchaser’s own personal educational use, household, tutoring practice or classroom.
The purchaser may print reasonable copies for the purchaser’s own learners or classroom and may make accessibility adaptations needed for those learners, provided the Resource is not redistributed as a reusable source file or offered to others as a substitute for purchasing their own licence.
4. Uses that require permission
Unless the Seller expressly grants a broader licence, you may not share the Resource file with another teacher, classroom, school, department, business or online group; upload it to a shared drive or public learning repository for others to reuse; resell, sublicense or redistribute it; remove ownership notices; or use it to create a substantially similar product for sale or distribution.
If a school or organization wants multiple educators to use the same Resource, it should obtain the number or type of licences the Seller makes available rather than sharing one purchaser’s file.
5. Intellectual property
Copyright and other intellectual-property rights remain with the Seller or other lawful rightsholder. A purchase transfers a licence to use the copy, not ownership of the underlying copyright, trademark or other rights.
6. Accuracy and suitability
Resources are provided by independent Sellers. Buyers should review a Resource for accuracy, age appropriateness, accessibility, curriculum fit and school-policy requirements before using it with learners. Classmade does not guarantee a particular learning result.
7. Digital delivery and refunds
Digital Resources may be delivered immediately. Refund, cancellation, conformity and withdrawal rights depend on applicable law and the circumstances of the purchase. Nothing in this EULA removes a mandatory consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.
If a Resource is materially different from its listing, corrupted, unavailable or otherwise defective, contact the Seller or Classmade at hi@classmade.co so the issue can be reviewed.
8. Breach of this licence
Material or repeated violation of this EULA can end the licence and may lead to account restrictions. The Seller and Classmade may also pursue remedies available under applicable law for unauthorized redistribution or infringement.
