Terms of Service
Last updated June 2, 2026
1. Overview
Classmade provides a website-builder and commerce platform that lets teachers ("Sellers") create storefronts and sell downloadable educational resources to buyers ("Buyers"). By using Classmade you agree to these Terms.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
3. Seller responsibilities
Sellers are responsible for the content they upload and sell, including ensuring they hold the rights to it and that it is lawful and appropriate for an educational marketplace.
Sellers set their own prices. Classmade deducts a platform fee per sale based on the Seller’s plan, and the remainder is paid out to the Seller via Stripe.
4. Payments and payouts
Payments are processed by Stripe. By selling on Classmade you also agree to Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement. Payouts are sent to the Seller’s connected Stripe account on Stripe’s standard schedule.
5. Refunds
Because resources are digital goods delivered instantly, refunds are handled at the discretion of the Seller and Classmade, consistent with applicable consumer-protection law.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, infringe others’ intellectual property, upload malware, or attempt to access data you are not authorized to access.
7. Termination
You may stop using Classmade at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk for the platform or its users.
8. Disclaimer
Classmade is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Classmade is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
